According to Poe is a folk rock band that was formed by Bruce Flett and Steve Gordanier in Penticton BC in 2016. The next year the duo expanded the band to 5 members by adding Jon Pelletier on bass, Allen Pelletier on drums, and Amy Campbell on vocals.

Bruce Flett learned to play guitar in the corners of living rooms, behind couches and around campfires. He has played on street corners and on grand stages. His music has been described as "Freak folk" and he approves of this practice.
